Everyone is entitled to their own opinion. Well, everyone says that... but are we really? If your opion isnt cool enough... no one speaks up to say it. We should be able to stand up and say whats on our minds... yes of course in a tactful way... but we should be able to respect eahothers opionions and beliefs. This has been really important to me lately... and i would greatly respect all my friends supporting me in this.
Also, i would just like to say that this blog is like my published journal. Im sorry if there are things in this blog you do not completely agree with. Some have my friends have commented about my icons. well, if you have not noticed i have redone my blog, before such comments were heard of... and the icons have changed (because as you all know when you change the background the html stuff gets all messed up)... anyway, this is like an online published journal for you all to read about my life, and so i really love comments you guys!!! Just, please respect my thoughts.

What Friendship means to me....?
1. Its not up and down. we are friends or we arent. if we are going to be aquantinces... then thats one thing. but friends... are friends. And i expect them to be there for me... one of the things i hate most is when friends act like they are your friend and then one week later they move on to another best friend.
2. Friendship is a gift! It is a privaledge! God gave us friendship... and did not expect us to abuse it like we do in today's society. We should honor this gift by respecting one another and loving one another, not simply flinging from one best friend to another.
3. Last but not least friendship should be treasured! Don't you want to be able to tell your kids... this was my best friend and maybe even still be best friends after highschool and college? I mean do you want to say i didnt have a best friend cuz they all betrayed me? Umm, no. I dont think so.
Anyway... i'll get off my soapbox. Sorry for the extremely long post, just thought yall like to hear my ranting and raving about this lol.

You are totally right when it comes to what you expect from friendships. But i think in todays soceity, as we both know, people definetly dont treasure and care bout friendships as much as they could and definetly should.We should not take them forgranted and yet so many of us do...until its too late and we realize that we probably lost a pretty awesome riend.
And yes i most defintley wish to find life-long friends...it just seems impossible at times...but i am surely not going to give on that one,neither should anyone. I think if we all do our best and learn from our mistakes from previously failed friendships,we will eventually find friends that are worth our effort and time.
Hey, I feel the exact same way! I hate it when I have friends who are my friends and the next week, they are off with someone else. And I like your icons too... they're cute.

ha I like the pink butterfly! and I really agree I think a lot of times "friends" are totally fake just to get other peoples approval...I think its crap... either be my friend or don't, don't pretend to be my friend just to seem like the "nice guy (or person to be politically correct)" it drives me crazy! and yea I know thats not exactly what you were going for but thats what I think of when I think of that

omg i totaly know what ur talkin bout with that one (on the friends bit) im havin some trouble with a flaky friend right now and it just gets me all depressed oh well i have other amazing friends and am just basically movin on, yay for life and the opinion bit is true too i mean don't ask for someones opinion if ur just gonna argue that its wrong! talk about anoying beyond belief!

And I can say that I agree with what you said...or typed...about opinions and all. Friendships just don't seem to mean the same thing they're supposed to. Like the song "Never Take Friendship Personal" by Anberlin.
It's kinda scary how I can relate most anything to a song...
And your icons are cool. They are very entertaining to watch if they're animated. But maybe that's because I'm easily amused.
